Shopping, and reflecting...delighting.

Do you ever wonder where in the world time goes? My friend Jeanne did a great photo of this see here http://jeanneoliver.blogspot.com/
- it's called "Flying."

I was stopped dead in my tracks yesterday. It hit me- my baby girl is now a young lady.

I was shopping- something I don't do a lot of ( personally...) anymore-and I was delighting in the feminine sweet motif clothes have this spring- I really like it...and it put me in the mind to pick up a little something for my sweet Sophie-and my new little niece who is due in a week or so.

Izzabella. Or as she has already been nick named IzzyB.

Could you just Die? I just ache for a little squishy girl to put in this fluffy pink treasure. Luckily I have a sister in law who obliges me by remaining pregnant year round... What a sweet thing to do for me- isn't it? ...why stop now I say...

Strike while the iron is hot.

Thankfully Sophie was with me and she let me pick her up a girly shirt- that was still cool.
Phew...

As for me...I picked out a little ditty for myself.

Don't my cleaning supplies rock?

Happy Sunday!

  1. I love it all. The baby clothes are adorable. Our littlest grand-love is going on three already!!! They grow up so fast. Every stage of their lives is unique and fun, but I already miss the "baby" stages.

  3. "Fun" cleaning supplies are a MUST! Otherwise, it is even MORE of a drudgery to get done!! ;)

I'd have baby after baby if I could -- my one and only is 19 and I so wish I could have raised more! But I do love having her -- she's such a blessing.

Maybe I should volunteer in the baby rooms at church to get my "squishy" fix! :)

    Lovin' that sweet pink outfit!!

  5. Hi Mel!
Oh, I just love this post!

Your young lady will always be your baby, she might as well just resign herself to this!

I haven't been blessed with little ones of my own yet, but I think that you're just the sort of mama I'd like to be.

    Hugs,
    Anne
